Dr. Silva served 20 years in the United States Air Force where he achieved the rank of Colonel in 2013. He retired as the Chief of Rheumatology at Keesler Medical Center where he began his distinguished Air Force career. Dr. Silva has a very patient-centered approach to medicine and believes that the best way to manage rheumatic disease is through a partnership with his patients.
Elected member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society since 1994. Associate Professor of Medicine at Uniform Services Health Sciences University and Wright State University.
