Dr. Angelo Cuzalina

Dr. Angelo Cuzalina recently served as the 2011 President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and also 2013 President of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Since beginning his private practice in 1998, he has become a leader in the field of cosmetic surgery, culminating in the AACS presidential appointment. He is board certified by two surgical boards– the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, for body, breast, and facial surgery, as well as the Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Cuzalina chose to go beyond the usual surgical residency training and elected to spend an additional year of cosmetic surgery fellowship training following his full surgical residency. His dedication to continued training and education along with a gift for the “art” of aesthetic surgery has allowed him to become a leader in the field of cosmetic surgery. Dr. Cuzalina has had the opportunity to train and perform surgery with several of the past presidents of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Both his training and talent in cosmetic surgery have allowed him many opportunities to excel in this field. Over the last decade, he has performed over 10,000 cosmetic surgery procedures. He has a special interest in body contouring after massive weight loss that occurs following bariatric surgery. He has also become well-known for his expertise in difficult facial aging cases, where multiple procedures are required to be performed during the same surgery.
