The WAOCS Annual Scientific Meeting outlines a forum where dermatological, facial plastic, head and neck surgeons, oral and maxillofacial, general, gynecological, plastic and ocular plastic surgeons — all of whom specialize in cosmetic surgery, have an excellent opportunity to discuss both background and practical impact of ageing, aesthetics and related conditions and experience the latest developments and achievements in cosmetic surgery and aesthetic dermatology.

The pandemic has certainly changed the way we learn. The WAOCS has focused on hands-on life surgery training during my term as president. Sadly, we are unable to offer this experience until the pandemic recedes. But stay tuned for when we emerge from the COVID-19 cover.
As we continue our partnership, I am pleased to announce that the American Academy of Surgery (AACS) is forging ahead to offer it’s annual meeting in a virtual format. Please join me for the event. As a long time member of the AACS, I know it to be a valuable organization for education.
