Welcome to the FTM (Female-to-Male) Chest Reconstruction Workshop, a safe and supportive space designed to provide information, insights, and guidance for individuals who are considering or preparing for chest reconstruction surgery as part of their gender-affirming journey. Our goal is to empower you with knowledge and resources, facilitate open discussions, and foster a sense of community among attendees.

This comprehensive workshop is thoughtfully curated to address the physical, emotional, and practical aspects of FTM chest reconstruction.

Course Description: Explore the intricacies of FTM (Female-to-Male) chest reconstruction surgery in our hands-on training workshop. Led by skilled surgeons, this immersive program delves into surgical techniques, patient assessment, and complication management. Through simulated surgical sessions, you’ll gain practical experience in creating incisions, contouring, and suturing. Engage in in-depth discussions on anatomical variations and ethical considerations in gender-affirming care. Learning Objective: Learn essential safety protocols, and basic techniques that help to flatten the learning curve and ease, which is the path to competency and safety in performing any procedure. Wm. Philip Werschler MD is the founding member of Spokane Dermatology Clinic and Werschler Aesthetics. Previously, Dr. Werschler founded both Aesthetics Skin Care and the Aesthetic Image Medical Spa.
